People who have Parkinson's disease may benefit from using Zelapar® (orally disintegrating selegiline). This prescription medication works by increasing the amount of a certain chemical in the brain known as dopamine. Zelapar comes in the form of a tablet and is usually taken once daily. Possible side effects of Zelapar include nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. Although some side effects may be merely bothersome, some are quite serious or intolerable.
