Pramipexole is not approved for use in children. Make sure to discuss the potential risks and benefits of the drug with your child's healthcare provider.
 

Is Pramipexole Used for Off-Label Reasons?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend pramipexole for something other than RLS or Parkinson's disease. Off-label pramipexole uses include treating the following conditions:
 
  • Tremors (shakiness) not due to Parkinson's disease
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Secondary RLS.
