Important Information for Your Healthcare ProviderYou should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking this medication if you have:
Kidney disease, including kidney failure (renal failure) or milder forms of kidney disease
Low blood pressure (hypotension)
Dyskinesia (a muscle movement disorder)
Any allergies, including to foods, dyes, or preservatives.
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are:
- Pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant (see Mirapex ER and Pregnancy)
- Breastfeeding (see Mirapex ER and Breastfeeding).
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

What If I Take an Overdose?It is not known what exactly to expect from an overdose with this medication, other than the usual side effects (but perhaps more severely). If you happen to take too much Mirapex ER, seek immediate medical attention.
