Parkinsons Disease Home > Neupro Patch Instructions

Neupro® (rotigotine) is prescribed to treat Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome (RLS) in adults. The instructions for using Neupro patches include applying the patch on the skin once daily. You may need to use more than one patch to achieve the proper dosage. Your healthcare provider will determine your individual dosage based on the severity of the condition being treated, how you respond to the medicine, and various other factors.

Do not suddenly stop using the patches, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Also, make sure to remove the old patch before applying a new one. It is also important to not cut or bend the patches, as it may cause the patch to release the medication too quickly
