Drug Interactions With Bromocriptine

A number of medicines could cause drug interactions with bromocriptine, including protease inhibitors, triptan migraine medications, and certain antidepressants. These interactions can increase your risk for serious side effects (including a group of dangerous symptoms called serotonin syndrome) or decrease the effectiveness of the medicines. To help prevent these bromocriptine interactions, be sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking.
