Azilect Food Interactions (Cont.)

Other Suggestions for Avoiding Azilect Food Interactions

In addition to avoiding the previously listed foods, there are a few things you can do to help prevent Azilect food interactions:

  • Always make sure your food is fresh.

  • Be on the lookout for "hidden" tyramine products, especially in restaurant foods, such as soy sauce in stir-fry, or prepackaged products, such as cheese crackers.

  • Never, under any circumstance, eat anything that you suspect may be spoiled.

Although these food recommendations may seem rather restrictive, it is important to follow them in order to avoid dangerous food interactions while taking Azilect.
