Azilect® is a medication used for relieving symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It works by inhibiting MAO enzymes, which helps increase the amount of dopamine the brain can use. Azilect is available by prescription only and comes in the form of a tablet that is generally taken once a day. Potential side effects include indigestion or heartburn, headaches, and joint pain.
